I was 17 years old when I began in the construction industry. At that time in Spain, before starting a carpenter's apprenticeship, we had to master how to labor for two years. We were taught skills in the complete structural process, including but not limited to carpentry, reinforcement and finally the concrete. I learned these skills over five years, while also training to implement wooden structural houses including framing, flooring, and finishing while in Australia for three years. Taken together, I have worked in diverse cultural environments and learned from several accomplished masters.
Following years of honing my craft as a skilled carpenter in Spain, France, Australia, and Sweden, I was ready to take my career to the next level, confident that I had acquired sufficient experience while also clear about my passions and what I wanted to accomplish professionally. I enrolled at Barcelona Architecture School in 2018 keen to learn the specifics of structural calculation, 3d modeling, urbanism, and art history.
